Join me for a ride from Roseville to Auburn -- the 150 mile route. (This ride will have long and short route options -- you choose.)
This ride has been changed from the original route due to weather. Late afternoon temps in Sacramento are predicted to exceed 100, and we're looking to get back before that happens.
This will be a late breakfast/brunch ride to the Rustic Table Restaurant in Emigrant Gap. Gather at 7:45. Kick stands up at 8:00. (NOTE: Since this is a ride to brunch, I'm not planning on arriving early for breakfast at Brookfields.) The morning route is a run up the hill, with our Rustic Table stop around 9:00.
For those who would prefer a shorter ride and a shorter route, you are welcome to boogie right back down the hill after brunch.
[Longer route option] If there is interest, I we can head to Donner Pass Road to see the Chinese Wall and Native American Petroglyphs. From there, we'll turn around and head home via 20 and 49. The other option would be to forego Donner, but still take advantage of the Hwy 20 & 49 scenery back to the Auburn area. We have options, and we will enjoy being out together!
