I had a birthday this week. Help me celebrate with a ride to Cobb Mountain.
Much of this ride will be fairly technical. Please have some seat time and be comfortable leaning your bike to go on this ride. Dress in layers for cooler weather. Early morning temps are expected to be in the low-to-mid-40s, and high temps on the mountain are expected to be in the low 60s at midday.
Meet in the IHOP parking lot off Harbor Blvd/Reed Ave near the Ikea in West Sacramento. KSU is 8:30. Come a little earlier if you plan to grab coffee or breakfast before the ride. Lunch will be at Cobb Mountain Pizza. Just before 3 PM we'll stop in Cordelia where you can choose to jump on the super-slab and hightail it toward Sacramento, or you can follow me toward Rio Vista and Amador County.
