  Grand Gulch Primitive Area

  Grand Gulch is a canyon system which covers 52 miles from the Ranger Station to the San Juan River. It includes individual canyons and many hikes and native surface roads. The gulch itself is accessible only on foot
  or horseback (restrictions apply). Other canyons in the system are accessed by roads which lead to trailheads. The canyons are repleat with ancient ruins, rock art, and solitude. Hiking Grand Gulch is not for the beginner or day-hiker. A permit is required.

  Edge of the Cedars State Park and Museum

  The displays in southeast Utah's only formal archaeological repository house depict both the ancient Pueblo culture and more recent cultures of southeast Utah. Visitors are encouraged to tour the Pueblo ruin and wander among the exquisite displays inside the museum. Visible storage allows visitors to see those objects ordinarily stored out of sight. The museum has the largest display of prehistoric Puebloan pottery in the Four Corners region.

  Four Corners Monument

  Visit one of the most unique landmarks in the country -- the only place where four states (Utah, Arizona, Colorado, and New Mexico) meet at a common point. The monument dates from 1912, but the surveys to establish the state lines began in 1868 in Colorado, 1878 in Utah and New Mexico, and 1901 in Arizona.
  A new interpretive center is slated to be completed by 2006. Native American craftspeople sell their wares at the monument along with traditional Navajo foods.
